Using the advanced digital CT technology of GreenCT, we are able to minimize unnecessary radiation exposure while capturing highly detailed 3D full facial and jaw images for diagnosis and treatment planning.
We use GreenCT for traditional orthodontic evaluations, as well as TMJ and sleep apnea assessments, to calculate:
- The size, shape, and position of your teeth, including impacted teeth and wisdom teeth
- The size, position, and health of your roots throughout treatment
- The size and shape of your jaw bones, and how they affect your teeth alignment and bite
- Your progress during different phases of treatment
Low Dose/Low Radiation
We always try to expose patients to the lowest level of X-ray radiation necessary for a diagnosis. As a low-dose or low-radiation emitting device, GreenCT imparts accurate, clinically meaningful, and diagnosable data so your orthodontist can construct your treatment plan to be as efficient as possible.
While there are a number of ways to reduce radiation, there are also a number of ways to improve image quality. To improve image quality while reducing exposure to radiation at the same time, GreenCT uses advanced X-ray sensor technology.
Rapid Scan Feature
GreenCT’s rapid nine-second scan minimizes motion artifacts and produces superb images with which we create your 3D model. This 3D model makes it easy for you to understand the direction and goals of your treatment plan.
